University Readiness
CMP is designed to prepare students not only for university admission, but for success in higher education. Through investigations, projects, portfolio development, and independent learning experiences, students develop the skills, habits, and capabilities expected in university environments.
Students learn how to conduct research, analyse evidence, manage long-term projects, communicate academic ideas, and solve complex problems using mathematical reasoning. They progressively take greater ownership of their learning while building confidence in inquiry, critical thinking, and decision-making.
University readiness is developed across all CMP pathways and is demonstrated through authentic evidence collected in the student's portfolio. By graduation, students have experience applying mathematics in real-world contexts, completing substantial investigations, presenting professional work, and reflecting on their growth and development.
CMP supports the transition from school to university by helping students become independent learners, effective communicators, evidence-based thinkers, and confident problem solvers prepared for future academic and professional success.
